Covid-19
I currently no longer require masks at tattoo appointments, however if you would prefer for us to wear them please let me know! I’m happy to do so!
Where are you located?
My studio is located in the Kensington neighborhood of Tkaronto (Toronto).
It is a private studio, and you will receive the address after confirming your booking with a deposit.
Please do not arrive early as I will likely be finishing up with another client or on a break and you will have to wait outside until your appointment time.
The space has one step up to a landing, and another step up through the doorway. If you cannot access the space please let me know and I will arrange to tattoo you at another more accessible location!
How can I make an appointment?
You can request an appointment by filling out the booking form or by sending me a DM on instagram.
I always announce on Instagram when my books are open.
Please note that I only accept projects which I feel I am the right artist for. All custom designs will be drawn in my style. Please be sure of what you want tattooed before requesting an appointment as I only take a limited number of clients per month and choose to accept projects based on design and available time.
I do not tattoo other artist’s work or copy designs. I also do not tattoo designs that are part of a culture outside of my own, or yours.
My hours are Mondays-Thursdays, 1100-1800. The last appointment of the day is usually 1600.
How do flash designs work?
Flash designs are repeatable unless otherwise specified. I always post flash on Instagram. Flash deposits are non refundable and also non transferable- you cannot transfer the deposit from a flash design to a custom tattoo.
Which body parts do you tattoo?
I am currently not tattooing ribs.
Can I get a tattoo in another language?
I will only tattoo words or phrases in English or Greek as those are the language I can read and understand. The only exception is if you want something done in your own native language. Please do not request a tattoo in a language you do not speak fluently or is not a part of your cultural heritage. Thank you!
Any projects you will not accept?
Yes. The following are projects that I will not accept:
Tattoos in a language that you do not speak fluently and is not a part of your cultural heritage (aside from Greek or English)
I will not tattoo any designs which are culturally appropriated, unless your background is from that culture. Excluded from this are the Greek inspired designs that I draw (eg. mati/evil eye, Medusa, Athena), as my background is Greek and I love imparting these symbols on others!
Any designs that I have not drawn myself. I will NOT copy someone else’s work.
What is your cancelation policy?
To book an appointment I require a non-refundable deposit of $100, which is applied to the total cost of your tattoo. If you need to change the time of your appointment you may request to do so with a minimum of 48 hours notice, and the deposit will be transferred to the new time. If you need to change your appointment time more than one time, you will need to pay a new deposit.
Small changes requested with 48 hours notice may be accepted but drastic changes in design or concept will require a new deposit.
If you do not show up or are late by more than 15 minutes your deposit may be forfeit and you will need to make a new one to rebook.
How much will it cost?
I price per project, not by the hour, My minimum is $150 and the cost goes up from there depending on size, placement and complexity of design. For custom designs the average price of what you see in my portfolio is $200-$350.
Do you really offer free tattoos?
Yes. I offer 2 free tattoos per month for Black and Indigenous folks, priority goes to those that are also part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community or disabled.
What if I am late?
Please arrive on time for your appointment. I understand that things happen so please message me if you anticipate being late.
If you are 15 minutes late or more, I may not be able to tattoo you and you will need to book another appointment and make a new deposit.
Will it hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Most people do not find the experience to be too painful, much less painful that machine tattoos. (I’ve had clients actually fall asleep!) If you are nervous about pain we can start slow. I’ve also got an arsenal of music, candy, essential oils and conversation to help ease your mind :)
Can I change what I want after I have confirmed the appointment?
I kindly request that you only request an appointment when you are sure of what you want to have tattoo’d. I receive many tattoo requests, and choose the projects I accept based on the design idea, and if it is something I am excited to work on that fits my aesthetic.
Also, since I work on drawings for your tattoo in advance, I may have already designed your tattoo when you request a change.
That being said, you may request to change the design via email and I will let you know if it is possible to do so and if it will require a new deposit.
Can I see the design prior to the appointment?
I do not send out designs prior to the appointment time. However, at the time of the appointment we can take as much time as we need to make necessary changes until you are 100% happy with the design before we begin tattooing! There is never any pressure to go ahead with a design you are not happy with!
Do you do cover-ups?
At this time I am not accepting projects that cover up or add to existing tattoos.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive having eaten a meal within 2 hours, well hydrated and freshly showered.
Do not consume alcohol or drugs within 24 hours of the appointment. If you arrive intoxicated I will not tattoo you and you will lose your deposit.
Can I bring a friend?
If you need to bring a support person with you please let me know in advance. I am a Mother, and understand that parents don’t always have childcare, so if you do need to bring your child with you please let me know in advance.
How do I pay?
The deposit is taken electronically (I prefer e-transfer, but paypal works if you’re not Canadian!). The remainder must be paid in cash or e-transfer.
Is it customary to tip for tattoos?
Tips are very much appreciated but never expected! As in any service based industry, it is customary to tip 15-20%.
